No. The FCC limits the transmission power of CB (AM) to 5 watts. The only way to legally increase range is to upgrade to a SSB (single side-band) radio. But the person receiving also has to have a SSB unit. SSB's are AM units that have the channel split into middle, upper, and lower bands. This allows the original 5 watts to be transmitted over a narrower band and increasing transmission efficiency and range.
There are persons out there who are running CB with amplified signals. This causes bleed over between channels and creates a 'king of the channel' power struggle to be heard.
Other than that. you're into FM territory. GMRS(?), FRS, and HAM.
