looking for a mentor

Hello,

I'm new to water fowl hunting and looking for a mentor to help me get started. I'm 35 living near San Jose. I have been pheasant hunting but that was 20 years ago. I have handled many types of guns over the years. I also enjoy shooting skeet/trap. If you are willing to take out a new hunter please PM me. If you have advice on how to find a good mentor please share.

Hey Adman,
Do you have gear, camo waders, shirt, rain jacket, hats, backpack/gearbag? If you want to hunt the refuges near you you will also want a bike with a gun rack (absent the rack you can get by with a shotgun sling). That would get you started if you went with someone who has the rest of the gear.

I have or can get everything I would need. I also want to try hog hunting before moving up to bigger game. I want to get involved in a hunting group/club.
