Looking at the cooper bullet issue ,anyone out there shooting a Remington mod 788 and found a good copper bullet that it likes? Am hoping to use you findings for a place to start. Would like to keep in in the 130 gr. Neighborhood. How about reloads ,what is legal to use and how do you prove you have a legal reload to the dfg officer?

cutting edge or gs custom. Both pretty pricey but shoot amazing. Barnes will work good too if you aren't worried about BC. I only hand load so not sure what is out there for factory ammo.

I have a browning BLR in .308 and have used the Barnes 150 gr TTSX for years, taken several deer with it and always performed great. One shot kills!
