It seems you're lucky to get one, maybe two years of service from the timers in many store-bought feeders.  Does anyone offer a more durable kit that can be assembled and used as a replacement?

Thanks,

I've been talking to Joe D. about maybe using the chip to timer a feeder.  It would be very possible.  Would you be interested.  I was thinking about working out the times and push buttons etc.

This thread probably needs to be moved to the "make it yourself" forum on the board.  We probably would get more responses.
