Hey I'm Austin, pretty new to the forums here, but I've been involved in the sport for a few years now, and have been on a few pig hunts, though unsuccessful. I've got two pig hunts and a deer hunt under my belt sofar, and dont mind long hikes while packin gear. Currently im 17 and am up in Redding, CA, where unfortunately the pigs are just about as spread out as the people, and Im looking for anyone who doesnt mind taking a kid (i.e me lol) along next time they head out for pigs. I've been shooting my bow (70lbs) for about 6 years now, and am a good shot and have been bowhunting before, but simply not for pigs. Also, I have been shooting my .270 for a bit now, and am a fair shot with it aswell. Anyways as I said, if anyone is out there who wouldnt mind me coming along nexttime they are on a pig hunt somewhere between way up here and the bay area (used to live down there) It would be awesome. I can drive myself, and pay for my own costs, although obviously if your going on a guided hunt its not something I can come along on (i dont make that much money, even with my job lol), so hopefully there is someone out there who's planning a summer pig hunt (or heck even any pig hunt) on some public land or private land who wouldnt mind me coming along! So go ahead and post here or shoot me a PM and hopefully we can talk something out!

But I realize that there are plenty more hunters from way down south then up here, so I'm just hoping to catch someone between the bay area (or somewhere around there) or up here willing to have an extra hunter on one of their trips
