Well did my first scouting trip in zone d-15 this weekend and set out 2 game cams. All I saw were 6 does but they looked very healthy compared to last year. I also drew a A-20 tag, I shot a 128 buck there last time I hunted X12 but seen much bigger bucks than that. I plan on holding out for a bigger model this year. As for the Pacific Hybrids I have my work cut out for me this year. Im trying to get a Whiney Hill In the hybrid catagory I figer that I have to hold out for a 126 or bigger this year to make it happen
. I would have it this year if I didnt miss a 140 buck 3 times over the 05 season
. My boy J.b. also has an A-20 and AO tag hopfully we will get those filled this year, im trying to make him hold out for a book buck but he`s not to good at letting bucks walk by yet that boy likes to let them arrows fly. Any way im going to post our last 3 seasons of hunting cali. bucks to help you boys get pumped up and get out there and start scouting!

Awesome pics!! They've got me fired up, especially since I pulled an A20 tag as well. I would be stoked to get a buck like the one on your wall. Best of luck to you and your boy!

Of course all beautiful bucks, the D-11 buck incredible. Are you doing x9-c again? That is a great looking buck too, love that area up there.

Wow...leave some of those monsters for the rest of us! Great collection, I'd bet antler growth is even better this season given the amount of water we received compared to the dry conditions last year. Congrats.

Thanks for the replys guys I wont be hunting x9c for a couple years. Ya I shot a nice buck there but it was a very hard hunt. I usaly put it as my 3rd choice after x12 and x9a. and im sure hoping for better horn growth this year looks good so far.

Well went and scouted x -12 and seen some nice bucks in the high country and the biggest bear I have ever seen. We hiked a 29 mile loop according to the GPS in 3 days. Then when I got home I checked my local game cams and got a couple nice pics the season is still looking good.
