Check out the Klamath Refuge web page(www.klamathnwr.org)and as of their report dated 10/11/01, additional water is being received during October, which will allow hunting in the marsh units of lower klamath for the first time this year. This is great news for hunters, as well as the ducks and geese that will benefit from the additional habitat. Someone must of put a fire under someone's butt to get this situation change around, because I do not recall hearing about any recent large rain storms up North. Sounds like CWA's efforts may of paid off again. In any event I am making plans today for a trip up to the Klamath Basin for some of the best hunting in our state.
