Just picked up the Mainstay PIR and was wondering if anyone has used this board and has some schematics or pics on how to wire it up. I like the time feature and the sensetivity and would really like other input on the product.

I did pull the board, but it is different.I don't know if it is because of the added time display switch or what, but it does look different. May be the way the components are put on it, but the MS-20 has "MS-20" printed on the board and the Mainstay does not. It also has some other capasitors that the MS-20 doesn't have. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, I'm electricly illeterate.

Also was wanting to know if you can put glass in front of the fresnal lens or should you flatten out the lens to cover the hole?

You have to be careful to get the right mainstay (I believe it is the WM2).  Some have the same specs. like 110 degrees and 70'.  Double-check the box for the model number.  The WM2 is the MS20 in disguise.  It should say MS20 on the board.

Hi horndog,
No glass in front of lens - blocks the IR signal.
