March 7 through 9 JHO/Tejon Hunt

Iv'e been suckered into one of those innocent looking snow patches, almost rolled mine there. The only reason it didn't roll is that it sank really deep in the mud as I went over the side.

It's a tough place for a vehicle...especially front-heavy, long-bed pickups. I had my close call on the ides of March several years ago.

Fortunately, it's time now to start thinking about the May hunt. Roads will be dry and mostly graded by then, so the adventure will be focused more on shooting hogs than worrying about losing your rig over the side of the hill.

Kenny, glad you guys got that thing outta there OK. I know it put a damper on your weekend, but in the end it all worked out OK.
