So me and my grandpa hunt my land, however, I've never found any sheds until this year. I went to take down empty feeders on Feb 18th, just some cheapo $30 moultrie photocell 6.5gal ones. Had 'em hanging in trees. So I get one side of the rope untied, to do so I parked the ATV against the tree and stood on the rack. Then I start it back up, move over to the other tree, and I happen to glance down and see that I was about 3in from running over the left side (deers left side). It was FRESH. It had a few specks of blood on it and the stuff around the base that resembles the whiteish stuff at the base of your fingernail. That was cool anyway, first shed I've ever found (used to live near Chicago, had to drive a ways to hunt, and thus never got out there much in the spring), and it was a nice one, fresh to boot.

I kept my eye open for weeks after trying to find more. Never did. Then one day (June 18th to be exact, 5 months later, same date) me and my grandpa were walking the woods just checking things out. Spooked a deer early in the walk. Then my grandpa spots the other one! Not chewed on at all, slightly faded though. Neat thing (for a city boy who can now hunt in his back yard) is that they were both within 100 yards of eachother, and they were both within 100 yards of my house.

So I proudly display them on my TV, haha. Anyway, now, the pic:

Now if I can only see him this coming season!
