BALTIMORE -- The Thanksgiving weekend marks the beginning of deer firearm season in Maryland. It also marks the first time since 1723 when hunters can shoot a deer on Sunday.
Maryland's Department of Natural Resources reminds hunters that Sunday hunting is limited to private land in certain counties. The only county in the Baltimore area where the Sunday hunting is legal is Cecil County.
