COLUMBIA, Mo. – Do you have questions about building a new pond or about management of an existing pond on your property? The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is hosting pond management workshops in four Mid-Missouri counties. Each workshop will cover a wide variety of topics including pond site selection, pond construction, pond stocking, fisheries management, aquatic vegetation management, pond watershed management, and nuisance wildlife.
The FREE workshops will be held in the following counties:
