ALTON, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the University of Missouri Extension-Oregon County will host a food plot workshop, Friday, Aug. 28, at 6 p.m. The free workshop will be held at the FEMA building located on the Alton school campus.
"Now is the perfect time to plan and implement a wildlife food plot," said Marcus Asher, an MDC private land conservationist. "There's a lot of interest in improving wildlife habitat and using food plots to attract wildlife and this workshop will focus on how to do that."
