Columbia, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is hosting a workshop on using prescribed burns to improve wildlife habitat and control unwanted vegetation on Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bradford Research Farm in Columbia. The workshop is free, but participants must pre-register by Oct. 19.
