Kansas City, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer a workshop and a guided hunt to introduce people to squirrel hunting. Squirrels are plentiful, fun to hunt and can make great table fare. They offer a good introduction to sport hunting.
This workshop is being led by the staff at MDC's Burr Oak Woods Nature Center. Registration is required. The workshop is free and open to ages 11 and older. Youths age 11 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
