Hannibal, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host a deer processing workshop at its J. Thad Ray Conservation Area (CA) in Hannibal on Dec. 3 from 5:30–9 p.m. There is no cost for the program, but pre-registration is required.
The workshop will cover the process of harvesting a deer from the field to the freezer including skinning, quartering and the various cuts of meat. All necessary equipment will be provided.
