IMHO, almost all game animals especially boars and bears are very dangerous game. There is no way around the facts that they are very well adapted to survival and will hurt you if possible, as they are the same size or larger than humans. Hunting is not a court game nor is it a board game, the stakes are serious and permanent. If you drop your guard on a wild boar, especially if wounded, and expect them to just roll over, you are very wrong they will charge you... They will hurt you if possible. I have been charged many times, but most all boars died while in flight. Lucky me...
I have been feet from wild pigs, and pecarry. I have never been charged by a game animal that was not wounded. Yet I have had many run past me, withing 1 to 2 feet of me. Why, because they didn't know where I was. They simply understood the level of danger and bolted. If I were on a game trail, one that they had used, they would have run right into me. As such, I have to wonder if most game animal attacks (other than bear and the big cats), where the animal is not wounded, are actually incidental contact from normal escape behavior.
