Hey O/U,
There's a guy that I've hunted with for about 12 years, his name is Ken Whittaker. He hunts around lake Sonoma up off of Rockpile Rd., you can get there from Qualala, I think you go out from Stewarts point. Kens a great guy. I normally do the unguided hunts that he has, I've taken 7 pigs. He charges $300 for 2 days of hunting, you can usually squeze in Friday afternoon to give you another half a day. He does run dog hunts too, they are $400. If you go for the 2 day unguided hunt and decide you want to do the dogs, he will charge you $100 on top of the $300 that you've already paid. His son runs the dogs on these hunts. Here is his number, Ken Whittaker (707) 894-3280. On the unguided hunts, they're actually semi-guided. He will take you to the areas he's been seeing the most sign and explain how to hunt that area, if you get a hog down and Ken can get to it with the Quad he'll pull it out for you.
