My brother won # 1 in Mendota on the 27th i never hunted that area any blinds recommendations would be appreciated
and how many persons are allowed in the blind.

if it's not to far away, go and scout. A #1 draw deserves a bit of preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for a great day of hunting!

There are no blinds, unless you are handicapped. All free roam. 2 adults and 2 juniors per adult. Go to the check station the night before and study the map showing whats flooded. Then select one of those areas thats flooded. Birds are all over on opening morning. When you are coming back in after the hunt, watch for rattlers on the levees. Keep your dog on a leash if you have a dog. Good luck and have fun.
