Some of you know how I am and some of you know how hard core I am when it comes to salt water fishing. And for those of you that don’t know me, I make my living at salt water fish. So, I plan my trips when the fishing will be at its best. (Not when the weather will be at its best.) It will be hot and that is when the fishing is at its best.

I have booked a trip to the Midriff for Aug 7th through the 12th, it will be nice and HOT, but if you are looking for a trip of a lifetime, this is it. Dorado’s, 100 lb.Groupers, Yellowtail 30lbs to 50 lbs, roosterfish, Cabrilla, Giant Squid and more.

The Boat will leave out of San Felipe and return to San Felipe (It is 90 Miles past the border and the boat ride is about 250 miles). We will be car pulling and the cars/trucks will stay in a fenced and guarded compound, so your trucks will be safe.

Coast is $775.00 for the whole trip, which will include 3 meals a day, logging and Guides. We will be staying on a mother ship and fishing on 21 foot boats.

If you have any questions? You can e-mail me or post them and I will get back to you.

I personally don't like it, not because it's not good fishing, but because it is getting to Americanized and I don't have to drive as far and I think I do much better going to places that are not on the beaten path, this way we say way from the commend spots that get fished regularly.

But to answer your question,
It’s starting to get warm, fishing is purity good, but it can be very spotty. Are you going on a trip with guides or are you going off the beach with a local?

Thank you Outdoorplay for your response. I am taking the wife this time. I have alot of experience. She wanted me to take her to a place I have not fished before. I have already been everywhere south. I thought it would be worth a try. I set it up through blue water tours and got a good price. I am looking for some good advice on the area. thanks ch

Are you flying or driving?? Are they supplying your tackle or are you bringing your own?

You should have a good time and your wife should have a good time as well.
