Miss., Ala. hunters plead guilty to poaching

The Associated Press

HELENA, Mont. — Hunters from Mississippi and Alabama have pleaded guilty in what authorities say was a poaching ring operating in central Montana.

At least two other Mississippi residents also have been charged.

Shelby Windham, 49, of Mobile and Dr. David McGraw, 48, of Woodville, Miss., were fined a combined $9,888 and each had their hunting and fishing privileges in Montana revoked for six years.

Windham pleaded guilty to a dozen misdemeanor hunting and poaching violations and McGraw pleaded guilty to 15.
