Molly's Sun Bath

This mallard hen may not be telling me her real name. Taken at the end of the day at a local urban park/pond that has become a refuge for waterfowl and other birds.

Made with the C-730 and Raynox 1540 telextender. F 3.5, FL 585mm, 1/1000, -0.7EC, ISO 100. Spot metered. PSE 2 - Slight crop, Levels and Curves. Slight saturation boost in yellow and red. Unsharpened.

That picture reminds me of how dumb some people are....I was at the state fair visiting the DNR display and they had a little pond fenced in with geese, ducks etc.
there was a duck resting on a stump and I over heard a lady pointing out to her child that the duck only had one leg!!
