Just seen this is on at 2200 hrs (easter time) on the history channel. Seach for monster hogs and interviews with victims of hog attacks. Sounds like it could be good...
The guys that helped put it on were disappointed that the dogs were not shown. I did not see the show, but am glad I did not after hearing what they had to say, I saw one of the hogs they caught with the dogs and they got some pretty darn good action footage from the dog mounted video camera and camera man, but none aired.
It was pretty good. The have tales from guys gettin hooked and a big piece on putting a video camera on a wild hog.
It's the same biologists from University of Missouri who put a video cam on a whitetail deer. The hog required a different collar for the cam since pigs have no necks like a deer. Hog runs off and they loose the signal after a few days.
They also show some scoring official guy measuring a hog out of TX. Sposed to be wild and 700 lbs. Measuring dude says the hog was wild but not near 700 lbs from the measurements.
Lots of info on setting game cams with solar power to get pics of hogs and using traps.
3 tusks up out of 4 up.. I would have given 4 tusks but they didn't have any hot babes in halter tops running around in the video.
monster hogs for sure. watched it last night, it was good an intresting just like Speck said. it would of been really cool if they had better success with the hog cam hook up to see where those suckers were holding up in the thick stuff, i like the part after they hook up the game cam to the boar they squirt a whole bottle of supper dupper hog attractent all over the hogs body in hopes to attract a monster hog to flim, poor guy is going to get moore action then he bargined for!......tra
