For those of you that hunt out of state, you may want to do a double check when it comes to being familiar with the regulations when applying for a tag. For instance Montana has a deadline of Dec. 31 for requesting an application. I'd hate to see anyone have to wait an extra year , just because of an oversight. If you're planning to hunt as a non-resident anywhere, it wouldn't hurt to see that there haven't been any changes made when it comes to applying.

There is no deadline for requesting an application by Dec. 31st in Montana. The website said you can download the app starting Jan. 1st. They mentioned that they would be mailing out bonus point cards the end of Dec. The app deadline is in March, Normaly on the 15th. I recieved my bonus point card in the mail yesterday. Good luck in the draws.

This must be a recent change. Maybe last year when they raised the fees for non-res. and went to bone us points, they revised how you get the application. Looks like I need to do a double-check.
