Nice northern lights photos; I've never gotten good ones of those, I guess I need to try a whole lot more.
Really nice photo of Anchorage. That's a classic shot.

AnnieAK, Thanks for the comments. Getting pics of the northern lights can be very frustrating to say the least. I have spent many hours late at night trying to get pictures to get nothing but cold and bored. It is well worth it when you get your first roll of film back and have some good shots. I am assuming by your username that you are from AK, do you take many pics up here?

Those lights are so errie looking. I've always wondered, do the pics come out looking just like the view? Thanks for psoting the pics willeverette.

spectr17, the pictures depend on how intense they are. The more intense the shorter the shutter speed you use. In those particular pictures that is exactly what Isaw when I looked in the sky. The pictures actually take away from the show because you can't see the movement. I have started taking my video cam with to try and get some on that so I can make some mpgs. When the lights are really active the feeling when you see them is beyond errie.

Nice pics, wish I could go to Alaska and see some of the summer college baseball up there.
