Mount Shasta woman poised to make Everest summit attempt

Laurie Bagley, the 44-year-old Mount Shasta woman who hoped to make a last push to the summit of Mount Everest this month, may be nearing her goal sometime today, according to an e-mail dispatch from a coordinating team leader sent Wednesday.
