Here is how I mounted My RS.  I used UHMW (nylon) but you could do the same thing with wood.  I cut groves in the UHMW and I can slide the sensor front to back to change sensitivity if needed.

Very impressive, it must slide as nice as a kitchen cabinet drawer!!
I never tried to back the senor out, maybe i am too close? i just thought that adding extra material(the lid) ment i had to compensate closer.
I noticed you don't have a battery cutoff switch? how come? and should i do that too?
Is that you timer board? Again thank you for all your help, i owe all my succes to this forum and  people like you.

The power switch will be on the outside as well as the external flash connection.  As you can see I havn't wired the board and switches yet.  That hole unit will be removable and the 9V batt will be hidden behind it
