Gantley's friend Jon went thru the MS20 and found I made some errors on my schematic.  He also redrew the whole thing using MS Paint, no less, and made a very presentable drawing with a good layout, much better than my crude, hand drawn schematic.

Any body who saved my schematic should replace it with this version.

He sure did a good job!

Errors he found:

1.)  Pin 4 of the LM324 circuit connects to the unregulated voltage instead
of +5V (also discovered by Arch)
2.)  Q1 is a 2SA733 as noted, but that's a PNP transistor
3.)  R11 not shown
4.)  The 330K "R2" is actually R21... the 1 is almost hidden on another line
5.)  R20 doesn't connect to ground... it connects from D6/R21 junction to
          the R16/R17 junction
6.)  R18 is the one that connects from pin 13 to ground
7.)  R17 connects from pin 13 to the R16/R20 junction

Thanx a million Jon, Excellent Work!

Ahhhh.... THAT explains it!  Always got a bit of a headache trying to figger out just where the op-amp was getting its references from!
