There was an abundance of mushrooms in one of my prospective hunting spots this past December. I'm going back this Monday to scout, and I'm wondering if the turkeys would possibly feed on the mushrooms. They sure act like it somtimes.

We had a ridge where we found lots of mushrooms for years. One year the turkeys beat us to it and had the whole area freshly torn up. The only place where we could find any mushrooms was where the turkeys hadn't been. We always thought that they ate the mushrooms, but I don't know why they wouldn't. They'll eat about anything else they find.
