10 days hard work, and four hunters
My Blue Wildebeest. Anyone a judge on quality? He is a trophy (because he is mine, nothing can take that away). I told my PH, I only want to shoot one if it was very big. I'm not convinced he is big, just representative.
My friends Wildebeest. The PH's were very impressed with this guy. My rack fit inside this one.
Oh how much fun this guy was! Part of the property was a 250 acre orange grove, and I had a civet permit! We would go out at night with spotlights looking for my civet. We found this guy instead! One shot too, the guide liked my shooting. I could have shot more, but I do not need to kill everything that walks. There was a much bigger one, this one is a baby. You have to try it if you have a chance.
My Zebra
My gemsbuck. I was promised no shots over 150 yards! I stepped it off at 220 yards. But my PH says I shot the wrong one, not the one he wanted me to shoot. Oh well, these things happen I suppose. Our group had somewhere around 15-20 stalks on Gemsbuck, but just this one met with sucess.
