Last weekend my 2 boys and I spent the weekend up-state Pa looking for elk sheds and the one boy found two.His first find was a small spike that I really like.It has alot of character for such a small shed. The other was a nice 6pt. shed with about a 30" main beam. Both sheds were dropped fresh this year with no chews.
Finding these 2 sheds has really got the boy hooked on shedhunting now.He was really starting to get frustrated not finding many WT sheds. That in turn got his older brother fired up.

Hey, that kid of yours is going to pick up hundreds of sheds with the start he's got. I can't imagine that he won't. Following you around and learning the knack of where to look, he's going to be a killer shed hunter. For you guys out there....this kid is only about 7 years old and can walk miles in the woods----finds more sheds than I can and I try hard too. Good luck this weekend.

Shag-the little guy passed last weekend,it was Jesse that found them and the his older brother that went this time. You are right though about the little guy, give him some time and he'll end up putting us all to shame.
