Congrats and a great accomplishment. To all the guys going over to find his area just respect it and and don't push them. That is why there arn't many pigs on public land. Yes its a free country bla bla bla but this is the reason very few hunters help other hunter. It only takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch.

Gongrats again and well deserved.

Great job on being on of the few! It makes it even more special that you got to share it with your dad! Just as it is something that you will never forget, I have no doubt that it will be the same for him.

Thanks guys.

Huntr Pat Yes the .243 did very well. Although I don't like the price of the new copper rounds I am very happy with their performance. The shot was a straight pass thru and very little meat was damged. Also, I'm shooting much tighter groups than I ever have.

TikkaNuts Yep, second bridge, thats it.

Congratulations, Eric. That is a nice size pig for eating. At least you wont have to soak it in baking soda,

Congrats on the pig. Like the masses say, any public land hog is a good hog. That one should taste great.

Great job CA,

Keep that spot for you and your dad(and some day your boy). You did the guys a solid just by mentioning the general vicinity. The great part about hunting is when all that hard work finally pays off. Congrats!!

Nice pig!

My friend was guiding rafts on the Kings River for the sixth year or so and said that the hog numbers are up.
Maybe it's time for a camping trip up at Kirch Flat
