Not sure if I should put this in deer or elk. Spent three weeks hunting in Idaho this October. Filled a deer and elk tag. Nothung huge, but I'm smiling, as you see. Went out with a flashlight on the last day of deer season, and my second deer tag unpunched. But almost got a monster the last evening, had to rush the stalk, and bumped some does I did not see. Saw the top of his antlers just over the horizon, less than 50 yards away, and they were off.... Oh well, had fun, and can't complain about a three week hunting vacation. Ever. My son and I were pretty conservative on the ammo this year, between us three shots fired at game, two elk and a deer to show. And none took a step!

Great job dude. I was there for 10 days and got skunked. Rugged country. Nice effort.

Thanks. That pic was snapped by a Polish tourist who had a friend take her to the top of the mountain on an ATV. I took theirs, they took mine. Guess you see everything out hunting. Preadatorhunter21, IWV, do I know you? Me too.
