My new Canon XSi

I finally broke down and bought a Canon XSi and received it today! I was thrilled to see the UPS guy drive up! After playing with it for the evening, I'm very happy with my choice. I've always had Canon cameras and have been very happy with them. I like being able to pick up a camera and be able to use it without having to read the instruction manuel; all my Canon's have the same buttons and functions so it is easier to use the new camera. Here are a few of the 170 pics I shot in about 2 hours around the house. The hummingbird pics are my favorite. None of the pics are photoshopped, just straight from the camera. Enjoy!

Last pics. These are of Elizabeth. They are okay, but she is a little washed out. Once I do read the manuel and start using the creative modes, I'll be able to fix that.

Congrats on your new toy Ranchwife. The best teacher is to just get out there and use it. Try all the different settings to see how the pics turn out on different ones. Most of all , have fun doing it.
