My property qualified for a either sex archery tag!!

My property here in NM qualified for a either sex archery hunt that is unit wide here in unit 34. This is one of the best units in NM!!!

I am getting calls already people wanting to buy the tag. Most likely i will sell it, but, if i dont draw anything good this year i am going to maybe hunt it myself.
This tag goes for 3500 to 4000!!

One way or the other myself, someone in my family or a close freind will be hunting elk this year and if nobody draws i got me a tag in my back yard.

Brent, It would be hard to keep this tag knowing that i can get 3500 to 4000 for it. Most likely myself or my family will draw a real good bull tag. If thats the case I will sell it.
The first year up here i paid 3500 for a landowner tag and hunted 19 days of it.

I hunted mornings and evenings and tried to stay caught up on business during the day and after dark. I didnt know when to stop.

I will wait till all the drawings are done then put it out for sale. Those that wait the longest get the most money anyhow. One of my neighbors traded the same tag last year for 3500 and a cow tag.

Congrats on the landowner tag....Mike is right, the way you treated us last year you deserve good things...Here is what I predict for you this year....A Valles Caldera tag for you and your wife. Lauren and Zach draw the youth hunt tags for your zone....You sell the landowner tag for $5000 to a guy from Texas who has a 20,000 acre ranch that he'll let you hunt for free.....Now that's good Karma....
