Does anyone have any experience hunting Namibia....? I'll do my research, but if anyone has any personal experience I'd appreciate your input. Thanks in advance.

I'm headed over for safari #2 in Namibia, with the same outfit, in Sept. Excellent place to go in my limited experience. I've hunted the bushveldt up near Etosha and will do so again. Shots under 100yds are the norm in heavy cover where I've hunted. I'm taking my 9.3x62, 286gr Nosler Partitions. Last time I took a 35 Whelen with 250gr. Nosler Partitions, either will work. Some parts in the southern area a 300 win mag would be better for the longer ranges and more open country.

Trophy quality, frankly I don't care, this next hunt is for "management animals" and vermin. The first group of trophies were fine, never measured any of my trophies and everyone I know seems suitably impressed.

Flying: I've given up on SAA and I'm flying Lufthuansa and Air Namibia, more money but probably a better chance of having everything arrive on time. Namibai has a nice no hassel firearms registration. RSA is a pain in the butt, I overnighted there on my first trip and it took two bloody hours even though I was the only one there!!!!

Wild1,
I just finished an 8 day hunt in Namibia with Gert Muller at the Otjinuke Hunting Ranch. It was a great time and highly successful as far as obtaining a number of great trophies. My wife and three little girls went along as well and they were kept busy and entertained while I was out hunting. There were a large selection of animals to choose from.
