Hey everyone.
I'm wanting to learn about hunting and would like to come along on a hunt.
I would be able (and want!) to help field dress the animal, carry it back to your vehicle, butcher it, or whatever else needs to be done. I can haul your 40 pound ruck into and out of a canyon so you can be free to glass and shoot.
I will not ask for anything, except for some skills learned. Hopefully if you liked my work ethic and enthusiasm, you might cut me in for a piece of meat or two. I do not have much money, so I can't really put too much in - thus the reason for not having a membership at the Bull Moose Hunting Society. I am (at the moment) vehicle-less but would be willing to pay for your gas to and from your hunting spot.
I do have my own equipment, but not much in the way of hunting specific (just your basic backpacking pack, a good pair of boots, some warm wool clothing, 8mm bolt action/.30-30 lever action, etc).
I have some backpacking/camping experience in all kinds of weather (except severe snow), so if the weather turns south of 70 degrees and sunny, I won't turn into a whiny guy who suddenly thinks he's the Wicked Witch of the West (I'm melting, I'm melting!).
