Thinking of hunting the flat top wilderness in Colorado and need a starting point. I'm wanting to hunt archery and packing in a few miles. If you could help me with a little info that would be great. I would also like to hunt this area for deer too..

Thanks

Look through the past post and see what you can fish up. Also CDOW (that is Colorado Division of Wildlife) has a great and easy to use website.

Bull elk tags are over the counter (and maybe a few cow tags) for archery. But I believe all deer tags are through the draw. On the website they have a great unit map and detailed info on the different hunting seasosns and species. Good Luck!
