When I hook power up to ms 20 it fries some of the copper "runs" on the board.I have the + wire where it shows in both blackwaters and jesse's site and am using a 9 volt relay with a 9.6 v NICd rechargeable battery.

Anyone no why it would do this?

Your MS20 is probaly toast, something is shorted.

Short Circuits can happen for several reasons, like some component on the board being fried from the MS20 being hooked up to the batt backwards (+/- reversed)

or it was wired wrong or solder is shorting across something.  If you find this is the problem, fixing the mistake might fix the MS20, depends...

and sometimes a component shorts out on it's own and it wasn't your fault.  Just like a light bulb, you never know when something might blow.
