atiotic-wavin-flagThe family and i will be in Monterey and Big Sur area for thanksgiving. Stated thinking of pig hunting for a morning maybe public ground near by. Would love some info of the area if anybody has any. Can shoot rifle or bow whatever it takes to take. Thanks for all the help.

For the area you are going to be at, all you really have access to is LPNF. It's steep and deep and would make for a nice hike. You might want to do quail instead if you go there. Then again, you never know.
