Need to find a January Hunt for my son

Even though I have a Tejon guided hunt I won that I could use, I am looking for a hunt for my oldest's 12th birthday. He is so pumped to go. (Even though MOM has veto'd going on his actual birthday) An suggestions?

I'd take him to the Jan. 30th Pig O Rama at Tejon. You guys would get to camp out for 2 1/2 days, hunt together, check out some beautiful country, see plenty of deer, maybe elk, and have a dang good chance of killing a hog, or two. Happy to share some great spots with you.

Brent, that is a good idea, but, i am fairly sure that you need to be 18 yrs old to hunt there. It would be a great hunt for a kid though. I would call boaring experiences. they are in parkfield up by Paso Robles. They have a great place for you to stay. and i am sure you could keep it pretty reasonable if he is the only one that hunts.

Does anybody know the dates for the POR 2003-2004? I am hoping to bow hunt one of the dates this year. Also how many hunters are allowed per hunt?
