Nevada late season cow elk

Here's a pic of the January late season cow elk I got in eastern NV. Also threw in a pic of the cow I got in 2014. This is my 3rd tag in the area since 2011. For some reason I didn't take a pic of my 2011 cow. 75% success rate for me because I missed the only shot I had with my first tag in 2000.. I did find a pic of my 2011 cow elk after all.

Nevermind, I just looked up how much their antlerless tags are... I'll stick to CO, ID, and UT!!!

While there aren't that many non-res antlerless tags the draw odds are actually quite good. Max bonus points for all the non-res cow elk hunts was only 2 so I guess not may apply for them, probably because they are $500 for NR.
