They are demo models from a trade show in Europe, and have the euro version (meters) range distance scale on the focusing wheel.

Good deal..let us know how they turn out. I almost bought a pair of Minox (7x35's I think) and glad I didn't. I saw some at the Sportsman's Expo and they were not eyeglass friendly...at least for me.

Congrats. I just got mine last week from Doug. I got the Minox HG 8.5X52's. Love them. Took them out right at dark, almost completely dark, and could make out the wood in a neighbors fence down the street. Really looking forward to using them this fall.
Plus Doug gave a me a great deal.
