Just found out the DNR put out new fish advisories for consumption of fish taken from some rivers off the Chesapeake bay. This is a little scary because it includes fish like white perch, yellow perch and even stripers at the mouth of the potomac. The main contaminants are PCBs and mercury. The advisories are the result of a combination of new standards from the EPA and testing in areas not previously tested. I know Blackwater fishes these waters, anybody else out there drown worms in the Chesapeake?
