Ahh... close and easy is fine. It's just that much more embarrassing to miss...especially with a super-duper-whizz-bang magnum.

I keep asking myself why I bought this monster when the 30-06 does so much so well already.

Then I remember.

Great choice, I myself have a 300 wsm stainles stalker and have had no problems at all other than the piggys complaing about the wack it gives them. I've taken over 20 pigs 4 elk and 6 bucks and its as tight today as it was when it first came out of the box. Enjoy

Is that the natural sheen on the stock, or did you oil it up?

KP, that picture was fresh outta the box.

She's been through about 100 rounds now, so she's not quite as shiny as before... by October when I get out to actually shoot something with a heartbeat, I imagine that stock will look like any other synthetic... dull black, which is where I want it.
