I'm new to hunting just been pheasant hunting a couple times and me and a buddy want to try and get some duck hunting in. I have all the gear except decoys which I can get soon. I did research but don't exactly know where it's ok and not ok to go hunt. Is waterfowl all public land where I don't need permission to hunt? Or am I going to have to request permission from someone? Were are ready to just "wing" it if we have to. But any information can help. I live in the South Bay, and don't mind driving a couple hours to a spot. Any suggestions where? Thanks
Kevin
