I met a new JHP hunter from WI, He came all the way from WI to Go to a tech school here in Paso from the Harley factory in WI. We met at big bubbas bad ass BQ on sat night, and had a few drinks to talk about a place he had to hunt on indian valley rd private land. He had gone out that mourn. and saw some hogs about a mile out , but nothing on the property he had to hunt. He wanted me to take him to another area that I knew about , but I told him to stay on that property. He wanted me to go out sun . mourn. but since the war started I've been on war mode at camp roberts with no days off. So I told him to keep hunting the ranch, and the pigs will come through. Itold him I would met him after work sun to take him out. I got home and waited for his call , and waited, about 3:00 he called and told me that he scored on a nice sow about 200# . I was so happy that Pat scored a Ca hog. This Thurs His group from Harley D. is going to take a tour of camp roberts MATES with me, and show them the big guns that we have. I will let Pat tell the story and post the pics the hog that he got, when he gets backs home on sat.

I'm just glade to see a out of state hunter score.

PS: Pat hunted Tx last year and shot 3 hogs and told me that the hogs that he saw here in Ca made the Tx's Hogs look like piglets.

Great job pat

Thanks Guys, Yes Boartracks gave me some excellent advise. I wasnt seeing many pigs but stuck to it and it paid off big time. I was totally impressed with the size of the few pigs i saw and taste. I Guess the spot i had was good as i did get a pig, but im sure there is better from what i hear guys talking about. I did go a few days without seeing anything because the property was pretty open. but caught one cutting through one morning. I kind of lucked out to get to hunt there as it is usually a place that allows no one but i had a few minor connections I just enjoyed getting out and seeing a different kind of country.
The Tank ride was a roit!! these guys were the same mentality of jet jockies trying to make you puke. I didnt think a 70 ton tank would get airborn!!! Thanks a bunch Lowell!!
I learned about a lot of military stuff i didnt know about, like the sobots the tanks shoot that suck the ragheads out a 3 inch hole when it exits out the other side.... too cool... it was a cool trip
I invited Lowell out to try a little boreing WT deer hunting if he ever gets up here, hope he takes me up on it as we never did get to hunt.
O.K., how do you post pics here? i will try one this way
