New Mexico Unit 2

Have drawn what I believe to be a GOOD hunt,in N.M. This Elk hunt is Oct.5-9 and is a Muzzeloader hunt.Am having "Trouble" finding past hunters who have hunted this UNIT.Come on,has to be somebody out there,THANKS.

Go to Monster Muley's on the Coues forum and ask crazyaboutcoues.  He lives and guides in NM and will give you some suggestions.  Send him and email because he has been out scouting alot for coues right now.  I think his business name is Southwest Desert hunts, or high desert hunts.  anyway, send him a note on MM.  Dont you guide out of NV???  also there is another guy NMhuntinut on the Elk page that may be able to help you out.  Holler at both of them   crazy's name is Tommy Maldano and NMhunt's name is Larry G, both good guys, tell them Allen Taylor told you (Bura nut from MM) to call...........

I have gotten lots of "good" info here about other areas, and have even gotten a few "secret spots" too. I don't think people here are holding out , i just think that no one has info on the unit you are asking about.

I posted a similar question earlier about unit 36 in NM where I am heading this year and no one had any info on the area as well.

I will share all the info I have on unit 36 when I return....hopefully it will help someone else next year.
