New pictures

I was playing with the camera last night and decided to set-up a small studio to take some pictures! The first pictures didn't turn out like I had wanted, but once I got the hang of things, I started liking the results. Here are some shots of a few items that are big hobbies of mine.

I like it. What type of lighting were you using? Photo two has the light too concentrated on the center lures. Trying making a simple diffuser out of white nylon fabric.

I agree with photo two having too much light in center. Also, I don't think 2 white lures should have been side by side, it makes them blend together too easily. This was my first attempt with a blacked background photo and lighting. After messing around last night, I think I'm going to build a small studio in shop for photos like this.

These were shot on my kitchen table with a flash light. I had a black surface I put down, then shot in complete darkness. I used the flash light to bring out just the subject. The shutter was set on bulb

Never underestimate what can been done with simple lights. I went to my local photography club's latest meeting, and the topic was "Painting with light."
