New scope mounts?

If you were building a 300 Win. mag for long range hunting what scope mounts would you use. The scope is a Zeiss 3x15. Gun and scope are already purchased just do not have rings or bases yet. Thinking about Talley. Most of my experience has been with various Weaver types and Redfield type mounts. This is a buddies gun, not mine. He keeps going to fund raiser dinners and going home with rifles. I just go home a lot poorer.

I put Talley's on my Montana and I'll likely use them on every future rifle build. I use to use Leupold dual dovetails but I don't see the point if there's Talley's available that fit your rifle and scope.
